Paul W. Throndsen, MAI     Resume
PRINCIPAL

Paul Throndsen has been appraising since 1976 and was with Appraisal Associates, Inc. from 1981 to 1993, and a partner from 1985 through 1993. He was formerly a staff appraiser with Mulcock Appraising, and prior to that he was in mortgage banking. Mr. Throndsen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a real estate emphasis (1974) and MBA (1976) from the University of Utah. He became a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) in 1984 and served as President of the Utah Chapter of the Appraisal Institute in 1994. He has also served on numerous committees since 1982, including Chairman of Admissions, Government Affairs, and Education. National service includes National Board of Examiners - Experience (MAI subcommittee) from 1986 to 1990. Mr. Throndsen has served as President and Chairman of the Board of Comp-U-Share, Inc., a group of local appraisal companies cooperating in a market data pooling system. Mr. Throndsen was also selected as a Trustee for the Utah Association of Appraisers, an industry group overseeing legislative and government issues affecting appraisers. He served as its President in 1996 and 2002. He is a Utah Certified General Appraiser (5451070-CG00) and a Wyoming General Real Estate Appraiser (CG341). Mr. Throndsen is a qualified expert witness in both federal and district courts.

Gary M. Scheffner, MAI     Resume
ASSOCIATE APPRAISER

Gary M Scheffner has been a full time appraiser since 1995. Mr. Scheffner received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management (1995) from the University of Utah and became a memeber of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) in 2006. He is also part owner of Appraisal Group, Inc. Mr. Scheffner is experienced in the appraisal of a broad range of commercial property types including office, medical office and clinics, shopping centers and retail buildings, resiential subdivisions, fast-food stores and restaurants, gas/convenience stores, office/warehouse and industrial buildings, apartments, condominiums, and vacant land.

Jeremie T. Snowder, MAI     Resume
ASSOCIATE APPRAISER

Jeremie Snowder joined Appraisal Group, Inc. in 2000. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management/Finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA degree from the University of Utah. His strong finance background is helpful in analysis of investment properties. He is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Utah and has an MAI designation with the Appraisal Institute. He has experience from a wide range of appraisal assignments including valuation and market analysis of apartments, residential subdivisions, health care facilities, shopping centers, regional malls, retail buildings, office buildings, medical buildings, industrial and office/warehouse buildings, and vacant land.

Christopher T. Hansen     Resume
ASSOCIATE APPRAISER

Christopher Hansen has been a full time appraiser since 1995 following graduation from the University of Utah with a degree in Finance (real estate emphasis). He has been a Certified General Appraiser since 1998 and is finishing his MAI designation with the Appraisal Institute this year. His area of practice centers on commercial, land development, and recreational property valuations primarily in Summit and Wasatch Counties (Park City) with extensive experience in the recreational resort market appraising ski resorts, golf course, hotel, and resort condominium developments, as well as Historic Main Street commerical and retail properties in Park City. Ski resorts appraised include Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons, Sundance, Tamarack, and others. Golf communities appraised include Tuhaye, Promontory, Victory Ranch, and other proposed developments surrounding the expanding Jordanelle Basin east of Park City. He handles speculation land assignments focusing on rural Wasatch Back land markets under strong recreational development speculation. Personal clients include local and national banks, local and regional developers, resort operators, government entities, and conservation groups. Mr. Hansen currently serves on the Statistics Committee of the Park City Board of Realtors overseeing and interpreting statistical information for the Park City real estate community.

Orson H. Dietz     Resume
ASSOCIATE APPRAISER

Orson Dietz has been a commercial appraiser since 1996 with Linson Appraisal, LLC. He joined Appraisal Group in February 2005 as a staff appraiser. He attended the University of Utah majoring in Banking and Finance. Prior to becoming a commercial appraiser he worked as a Purchasing/Materials Manager for an aerospace manufacturing company in Spanish Fork, Utah. He was employed with Valley Corporation, a Utah Bank Holding Company from 1968 to 1980. He is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Utah and an associate member of the Appraisal Institute and National Association of Master Appraisers. He has experience in the appraisal of apartments, condominiums, office/warehouse and industrial buildings, vacant land, residential subdivisions, health care facilities, retail buildings, office buildings and gas/convenience stores.

Bret R. Slaugh     Resume

Bret Slaugh graduated from Utah State University in 1998 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance and Accounting. He joined Appraisal Group, Inc. in 2000. He is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Utah and an associate member of the Appraisal Institute. He has experience in the appraisal of apartments, condominiums, office/warehouse and industrial buildings, vacant land, residential subdivisions, retail buildings, office buildings and medical buildings.
